Bio
Robin Rosenbluth is a former foster teen who, as a debut author, explores childhood loss, foster care, the value of cross-cultural experiences, and her search for a sense of home and belonging. A graduate of Friends World College, she studied and lived in Europe, East Africa, and Central America. Her year teaching in a remote, nomadic village in Kenya profoundly shaped her life.
She serves on the board of You Gotta Believe, a New York nonprofit dedicated to finding permanent homes for older foster youth. She is active in Impact 100, a women’s funding circle supporting New York City nonprofits. Her advocacy includes racial, gender, and LGBTQ+ equality.

She has built a career as a fundraiser working for museums, healthcare, women’s issues, and the environment, and has taught fundraising at Columbia and New York University.
Her work has appeared in The Advocate and in The New York Times “Tiny Love Story.” She also writes My Jagged Journey as a Debut Writer on Substack.
Robin has settled down and created a home in Brooklyn, New York, with her wife, where they raised two children who now have families of their own.
